At last, INEC issues Okorocha Certificate of Return
Few hours after the inauguration of rhe Ninth Senate and the election of rhe Senate President, Ahmed Lawan and Ovie Omo- Agege, as his deputy, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Tuesday issued a Certificate of Return to former governor of Imo state, Senator- elect Rochas Okorocha.
A Federal High court in Abuja had last Friday directed the commission to issue the former governor the certificate.
The commission obeyed the directive after its management meeting on Tuesday.
The meeting also discussed other sundry issues.
INEC national commissioner and chairman information and voter education committee, Mr Festus Okoye, presented the certificate of return to Rochas Okorocha at INEC headquarters,Abuja.
