Dapo-Lam Delivers 29th Motorized Borehole To Iwo Road Community

The House of Representatives member representing Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina has handed over a solar-powered borehole to an Iwo Road community.

The commissioning of the 29th industrial water project which was held on Saturday is aimed to cushioning the perennial water scarcity around Ifelodun and Surulere communities of Sule Manager area, ward 11, Ibadan North East local government area.

Alh. Yekinni Kolade Aremu, the Chairman, Ifelodun House Owners and Tenants Association in his welcome speech on behalf of his Surulere counterpart thanked the facilitator of the water scheme for the series of ameliorating gestures including the newly commissioned borehole for the lot of constituents.

He extolled the honourable for being a promise keeper, he said ” though the result of the last national assembly elections did not turn out as we voted in our community to continue enjoy your purposeful representation with myriad of people-oriented projects, still you deemed it fit to begin and complete the project after you have lost”, he said.

Alhaji Aremu subsequently appreciated and pledged communities commitment to Hon. Dapo-Lam on his future political endeavors.

In his remarks, Hon. Dapo-Lam commended the people of the area for their acceptance and support for the different candidates of the African Democratic Congress, ADC in the last general elections.

He avowed that his passion towards the upliftment of human and community development would not cease as long as people remain his strength.

Hon. Dapo-Lam who was intermittently interrupted with the deluge of cheers by the overjoyed residents and commercial operators around popular Iwo Road electronics market therefore charged the people of the state to be judicious and mindful of the good gestures of his spell at the national assembly as they would be referenced in future.

The epoch making event attracted score of notable community leaders and political bigwigs mostly in the ADC among whom were Mr. Segun Adewusi A role, former Chairman, Ibadan North East local government, Alhaja M. A Oluwanran, executive officers of the Community Development Council, CDC from the local government area.
