West Ham Set To Rescue Iheanacho From Leicester Nightmare

West ham Boss, Manuel Pellegrini is reported to be interested in Kelechi Iheanacho once again.

Pellegrini signed the Nigerian forward while still in charge of Manchester City following the 22-year-old’s heroic exploit at the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2013 where he won the Golden Ball.

However, Iheanacho City future turned sour after the exit of the Chilean manager, his successor Pep Guardiola his eventual sold to Leicester City at the beginning of the 2017/2018 season to accommodate Gabriel Jesus in the team.

Iheanacho’s move to Leicester City hasn’t been successful, with the Nigeria international making just nine starts in 30 EPL games and it’s understood that the Foxes are willing to listen to a loan offer.

It is understood that Pellegrini is willing to work with the attacker again as he plans to reshuffle his attacking options ahead of next season.

The former Villarreal and Real Madrid manager is desperate to offload former Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez and Austrian forward Marko Aunatovic in the summer.

Iheanacho enjoyed the finest club football of his career under the Chilean scoring 12 goals across all competition in his first season at the Etihad Stadium.
