Ekiti State Governor Dr Kayode Fayemi on Wednesday evening emerged chairman of the Nigerian Governorsβ Forum(NGF).
He was elected during the meeting of the forum, which is still in Abuja.
Fayemi had been the favourite to chair the forum after the Governors reportedly rejected Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State.
Fayemi takes over from Zamfara State Governor Abdulaziz Yari.
