IN KOGI, PEOPLE ARE RECEIVING ALERT WITHOUT MONEY

You’ve Turned Salary Payment to MMM, Kogi PDP Tells Gov. Bello.

The Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party has warned the administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello not to make mockery of salary payment workers owed for between eight and thirty eight months, urged the administration to for once show seriousness in governance.

The PDP in a statement lamented that the present administration has turned salary payment of workers to the defunct MMM, with worker’s salaries made selective, designed to create the impression that it has payed workers who are owed between eight and eighteen months, yet the same workers do not get alert.

The PDP in a statement signed by Bode Ogunmola, the party’s spokesman, said if not in the days of MMM, how could bulk SMS salaries alert be send to worker’s without cash backing, after much celebration by the government in paying December salaries in May, yet majority of the workers have still not received alert.

The PDP assured the workers to reflect soberly on the punishment the present administration has made them go through, said with the APC nightmare, the should be prepared in November to vote out the party in whatever guise they present.
