••• appointment, reward for hardwork and commitment

Akwa Ibom State Chapter of the APC wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR on the appointment of Senator Godswill Akpabio as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Senator Akpabio was our governor for eight years and he performed marvelously well in all those eight years. He is an astute politician, a sterling administrator and effective leader.

His service as senator between 20I5 and 20I9 was equally glorious and satisfactory.
We are gratified that the President has appointed a grassroots politician as a Minister.

Based on his pedigree, we believe that Senator Akpabio will contribute effectively to the development of the country and help in further strengthening of our Party in Akwa Ibom State.

Once again, we congratulate, the uncommon achiever, Senator Akpabio on his appointment and we thank the President for this appointment, which is a reward for hard work, excellence and passion for service.
