Chelsea WIN transfer ban appeal and can now sign players in January window

The blues have won their appeal against a two-window transfer ban and can now sign players when the January window opens in less than a month.

Having gone to the Court of Arbitration for Sport after FIFA rejected an initial appeal, the Blues have now received good news.

A CAS statement on Friday confirmed the sanctions handed to Chelsea over the breaching of regulations regarding signing underage players have been halved, meaning they only have to serve a one-window transfer ban.

This was served throughout the summer, so the sanctions are now ended.

The 600,000 Swiss Francs fine has also been halved.

However, Frank lampard has alot of players he wish to sign in the upcoming transfer window.
