A’Ibom Ex-First Lady Felicitates With Aisha Buhari

The wife of the former governor of Akwa Ibom State and current Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Mrs Ekaette Unoma Akpabio, has felicitated with the wife of the President of Nigeria, Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari on her birthday.
Mrs Akpabio, in a message signed by her, on behalf of her family and organization, Family Life Enhancement Initiative(FLEI), described the nation’s first lady as a “role model in simplicity and selfless service to our nation, Nigeria.”
“On behalf of my family, the Family Life Enhancement Initiative (FLEI) I congratulate the Mother of the Nation, Her Excellency, Hajiya (Dr.) Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as she celebrates yet, another birthday.”
Akpabio eulogized Mrs Buhari, saying her Future Assured Programme has provided succour to women, children and less privileged in Nigeria.
“Your Excellency, through your impactful leadership and the Future Assured Programme you have touched lives and put smiles on the faces of children, the youth, women and the less privileged across the nation. You are a role model in simplicity and selfless service to our nation, Nigeria.”
Ekaette Unoma Akpabio, also widely addressed as Eka Esit Mbom, due to her simplicity and several assistance she rendered to the people during the tenure of her husband, Senator Godswill Akpabio, now the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, said Mrs Muhammadu Buhari’s support for her husband, President Buhari, has contributed to the ongoing development in the country.
“You are a pillar of support for our dear President, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR in his strides in setting Nigeria on the path of infrastructural renaissance, economic growth, peace and prosperity.”
Mrs Akpabio, her family and organization prayed for the Nation’s First Lady and wish her well.
“We pray the Almighty God to continue to endow you and your family with good health, wisdom and energy in service to our fatherland, Nigeria.”
