WINNERS’ CHAPEL SUPPORTS FCT ABUJA WITH MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, TO FIGHT THE CORONAVIRUS

Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners’ Chapel International) has taken the fight against the Coronavirus to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. The Church delivered yesterday, a brand new ambulance to authorities of the FCT. The ambulance has the capacity for testing and treating of patients, while also serving as a mobile hospital.

This donation is part of the Church’s phased and continuous support to manage the health situation of the country in general and rid Nigeria of the COVID-19 disease in this trying time.

Other medical equipment donated were ventilators, dozens of cartons of latex hand gloves, boxes of disposable face masks, dozens of gun-shaped infrared thermometer, hundreds of personal protective device (PPE), boxes of pulse oximeter and two cartons of blood pressure monitor.

The initiative is part of Winners’ Chapel’s long years of commitment to taking responsibility in providing humanitarian services at local, National and international levels, which dates back to 1992. The Church has and will continue to render medical, material and spiritual support to the government and the people of Nigeria to guarantee sane and healthy nation.

Among other responsibilities, Winners’ Chapel runs two universities, which are famed to be two of the leading universities in Nigeria, privately owned but which charge one of the lowest tuitions; and as a Church makes annual disbursements of tens of millions to rehabilitate state, federal and international roads in Ado-Odo Ota Local Government (Ogun State).

The David Oyedepo Foundation (DOF) offers scholarships to indigent students and children of hundreds of poor Church members, from primary to university levels.

Between 2012 and 2019, scholarships offered to Nigerian and other African students were in excess of One Billion Three Hundred Million Naira (specifically N1,368,627,763).
The Church will not relent in offering help and partnering with government at all levels and other responsible organizations, to fight and defeat COVID-19 and other challenges facing the country.
