Contrary to media reports that the youngest wife of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi 11 was sent packing from the palace on alleged adultery by the foremost traditional ruler, Peesreporters.com can authoritatively report that the Olori left on her own volition.
According to a source who is in the know of what transpired,  but pleaded anonymity, ” it is not true that Baba sent his Olori out of the palace on alleged adultery. What happened is that she brought in a female friend into the Palace to stay with her during this lockdown period without the knowledge of the Alaafin.
” When the Alaafin saw the lady within the private quarters of the Palace and asked who she was,  she said she is Ayaba Badra’s friend. As a result of that infraction, she was given just two hours by the revered monarch to pack out of the Palace.
Speaking further,  the source said, ” having been ordered out of the Palace by the Alaafin, she went to her host; Ayaba and told her what the Alaafin said.  Surprisingly, according to the source,  Ayaba told the Alaafin that, if her friend was ordered  out of the Palace, she would also pack her things and leave.
” It was at the height of that insurbodination that Alaafin was seriously miffed with her decision to leave with her friend that Baba said good riddance to bad rubbish.”
It would be recalled that the media space has been awash with reports of alleged romance between the youngest Queen and Fuji music Maestro, Kwam1, which led to her alleged expulsion from the palace.
Expectedly, Wasiu Ayinde popularly called KWAM1 has reacted to the allegations that he was having an extramarital affair with the youngest Queen of Alaafin of Oyo, Queen Badirat, describing it as useless claim.
KWAM1, who was recently given a title by the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, as the Mayegun, added that the claim was wishful thought of his critics that were against his new title.
In a short video on his social media handle shortly after news started filtering around that the Oyo monarch allegedly chased Badirat out of the palace over extramarital affairs on Thursday, the fuji icon stressed that efforts by detractors to dent his image since he started his music career had often failed.
Kwam1 added urged his fans not to respond or argue with the purveyors of the claim, assuring them that their allegations will not affect his status or his music career that had spanned decades.
Before his statement, there has also been divergent views on the issue, while several of his fans claimed that if the story was true, KWAM1 should be dead by now while others claimed he could have consulted oracles before embarking on the action.
