Ajimobi buried at his Oluyole residence

The remains of the immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has been buried at his Oluyole, Ibadan residence at 10:05am, today.
There have been raging controversies over the final resting place of the former governor,  who died in Lagos, last Thursday, of failed organs, reportedly complicated by COVID-19 infection.
While many residents of the state were expecting the burial to take place elsewhere, a report had it that the late Ajimobi was buried at his Oluyole residence.
According an online medium, oyoinsight.com, sources who were present at the short burial ceremony said his body was interred at exactly 10:05 am.
The brief burial ceremony was reported to have been attended by about 20 people, in line with the guidelines on social distancing engendered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
A special Islamic prayer, pewter, would be offered by 12noon for the repose of the soul of the late former governor at the Senator Ishaq Abiola Ajimobi Central Mosque, Oke-Ado.
