COVID-19: Lagos has 11,537 confirmed cases, 182 deaths-Health commissioner …Total cumulative tests 45490 The Lagos State government has disclosed that the confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection in the state is 11,537, out of a total cumulative tests of 45490, as at July 7, 2020. The state Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, made the disclosure on his Twitter handle, @ProfAkinAbayomi, early Friday morning, adding that 182 deaths have so far been recorded. He also added that 150 new cases were confirmed, out of a total 910 tests conducted on the same date, representing a 16.48 per cent positivity rate. Giving a further breakdown of the COVID-19 indices in the state, Professor Abayomi disclosed that the number positive cases in isolation within the period is 352, while 1753 were discharged from isolation. According to him, a total number of 7059 cases were recovered in community, while 2191 are still active in community cases within the period under review.
