Chairmanship and Councilorship aspirants in the Akwa Ibom State chapter of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), are currently seeking help from spiritualists to help them secure nominations to contest in the forth coming local government election in the state.
Investigations by our corespondent in the state revealed that because of the rave of imposition of candidates by party elders and stakeholders in the state, with the alleged support of the state governor, Deacon Udom Emmanuel and coupled with the exorbitant fee charged for the procurement of the forms, aspirants have decided to seek spiritual help from native doctors to bolster their chances of being picked as party candidates.
