Breaking: Fulani Herdsmen Attack Okeodan, Olomo in Apete, Ibadan•••Kidnap Poultry Attendants

People suspected to be Fulani herdsmen, this evening, stormed Okeodan and Olomo areas in Apete, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

According an eye witness account,  who narrated the incident on strict condition of anonymity  to PeesReporters.com, ” fulani herdsmen numbering about 20 in motor bikes attacked the area and kidnapped a yet to be ascertained number of workers in a poultry farm.
It was also gathered that officers and men of the Police Force in Apete Police Division, have arrived the area, in their efforts at calming fraying nerves and restoring peace and order in the highly tensed area.
As at the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of the kidnapped poultry workers are still unknown.
