The Oyo State Human Capital Development Office is set to organise a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for successful applicants for the Nigeria-Sao Tome and Principe Joint Development Authority’s scholarship for 100 level students in Nigerian Universities.
The Test, which will be held on Wednesday, 31st March and Thursday 1st April, 2021, will be conducted on Mathematics, English, Aptitude and Critical Thinking, a notice authorised by the Executive Assistant (Administration) to Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, Rev. Idowu Ogedengbe, stated.
According to the notice, candidates with number OYOSCH00001 to OYOSCH01645 will write their CBT on Wednesday 31st March, 2021 while the remaining applicants will write theirs on Thursday 1st April, 2021.
“The venue of the CBT is: EDUCATION ADVANCEMENTS CENTRE, 45 Awolowo Avenue, Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
“Time for the commencement of the CBT is 9 a.m. Candidates are advised to arrive early at the venue.
“Please note that all COVID-19 precautionary measures would be adhered to,” the notice read in part.
Ogedengbe explained that the scholarship is not from the Oyo State Scholarship Board, but that it followed a request to Governor Makinde by the chairman of the Nigeria-Sao Tome and Principe Joint Development Authority, to nominate candidates.
He stated, however, that the governor, rather than just single-handedly nominating candidates, offered the opportunity to all Oyo State residents in 100-Level across Nigerian universities.
