President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, on Sunday, 21st June 2026, received in courtesy, Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno PhD and members of the state Local Technical Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his residence in Uyo.
According to Eno, in his very brief speech, the visit was just to see the President of the Senate, welcome him to the state and brief him on political activities in the state, particularly, the recently concluded wards, local governments and state congresses of the party.
Earlier, in his welcome speech, Senator Akpabio felicitated the governor on this year’s Father’s Day celebrations and prayed for him as he steers the affairs of the state for the good of all.
He also congratulated him on the successful commisioning of the lnternational Wing of the Victor Attah Airport, describing it as the best so far.
In attendance at the meeting were, Hon Pat Umoh; SSG Enobong Uwah; Executive Director Projects, NDDC, Sir Victor Antai; Engineer Uwem Okoko (Hensek), Emmanuel Enoidem SAN; State party chairman, Stephen Ntukekpo; state secretary of the APC, Envoy Nsentip Akpabio; Mandate Secretary FCT, Ubokutom Nyah among numerous others.
