There was pandemonium in The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Obio Imo Assembly on Sunday, as police men in mufti, stormed the church, disrupting the morning  worship service in their bid to arrest one of the members, identified as Mr. Okon Bassey.

The  incident which happened at about 9: 10 am and lasted for over two hours, caused fear among members and the environment. Members were seen running out of the church as the armed security operatives entered the church premises to effect the arrest.

It was gathered by THE INK that the police had trailed the man from Ntiedo Udosen Street, to the church and immediately ambushed worshipers causing panic in the process.

The heavily armed policemen refused every overture by the District Pastor, N O Orok and some church elders.

The police, after proper identification later arrested Mr. Okon Bassey and whisked him away from the church.
