Senator Godswill Akpabio Senatorial Campaign Council has just been informed of the gathering of persons under the aegis of a purported inter-party stakeholders of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District at Ritman University premises ostensibly for purposes that fall short of Christian values, social norms and ethical conduct.
The gathering which touts to serve the end of peace as its objective is actually a mob of haters who have gathered to reinforce their obtuse conviction as well as strategize on how to win some fickle minds as converts.
But in their mendacity, they pretend to be bridge builders, peace makers and purveyors of justice. How can they provide these critical decimals when their minds are cluttered and burdened with hate for their brother, Senator Godswill Akpabio?
Senator Godswill Akpabio Senatorial Campaign Council is pleased to share with its teeming supporters the fact that the meeting which was convened by Atuekong Don Etiebet to adopt PDP candidates suffered stillbirth as many people who were invited on realizing the obnoxious agenda of the meeting left in anger, leaving a paltry number to continue with what was essentially a PDP meeting convened to railroad their senatorial candidate through the back door to the Red Chambers.
The meeting was convened to promote and propagate hate, divisiveness and partisanship instead of building bridges of unity and love which are precursors to development. The claim in their communique that it is “to maintain the prevailing peace,unity, progress, growth and prosperity” in Ikot-Ekpene Senatorial District is a farce as the leadership of the group is not equipped for such noble duties.
It is important to draw the attention of persons sucked in by this vice of hate to the admonisions of the Scripture. The Scripture in 1 John 3:15 notes: “Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.” As a campaign council, we ask, how many times do this gang of haters wish to murder Godswill Akpabio? He who professes God and hates his brother is a liar, is again, a precept in the Scripture which these unrighteous men in their selective amnesia hold in contempt.
Their claim that their resolve is representative is fallacious as they do not only lack the mandate of the people, they failed to consult the people before that asinine decision.
Senator Godswill Akpabio Senatorial Campaign Council condemns in every facet the collusion of members of the PDP with a few renegade members of APC to undermine the electoral fortune of a member of the party nay the party itself under the pretext of illusory justice which in truth is hate campaign against Akpabio.
The campaign council calls on the necessary organs of the party in the State and the National to take necessary actions to forestall re-ocurrence as such other acts of disloyalty may put the party in peril.
Senator Godswill Akpabio Senatorial Campaign Council, however, wants to inform its bourgeoning supporters that the so called communique is tantamount to nothing as the people behind it are a collection of PDP faithful and Akpabio antagonists who have never supported Akpabio and who have always failed in the attempt to derail his political cause (s). As usual they are set for another round of failure. It must be noted that the signatories of the communique are spent political forces that do not have electoral value even in their units.
We wish to assure our people to remain steadfast and gear up for Saturday, February 25, when they would step out in full majesty and grandeur to cast their votes for Senator Godswill Akpabio and Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other candidates of the party.
